日本語能力試験Update！

I suddenly changed my mind and decided to take N3 this year, instead of N2 (See previous post). Why?? I don’t know, but I feel I’m still not capable of N2.There’s always next year, anyway. I’m not really in a hurry and I still want to enjoy my year 2009. I’m good at cramming things, but I don’t wanna do it this time.

日本人の知らない日本語

Recently, I’ve been watching this dorama “日本人の知らない日本語”, translated “The Japanese that Japanese people don’t know”. It was recommended to me by my Nihongo sensei. It was fun watching this series, and the best part is that I can learn Japanese stuff that I didn’t know before. This dorama is still airing and currently is in episode 6.

I was surprised yesterday to know that this drama is actually based on a manga written by Umino Nagiko (海野凪子). I still don’t have any reference books for N3 review but definitely I got to have a copy of this manga before anything else. LOL!! I just purchased it from amazon.co.jp. :)

Last year, I took JLPT 3, even though I’m not yet finished with my elementary course. That’s quite a risk but luckily I passed.

This year, I’m taking my Nihongo skills to the next level, and this probably is the biggest risk I’ll take in my entire career. I feel it! Almost 3 months left before doomsday and I haven’t yet seriously started studying. T_T I really wish DBZ’s Hyperbolic Time Chamber was real (See previous post) so I could enter it and study Nihongo for a year but spending only 1 earth day! LOL

This is why MONKEY MAJIK is the Best!

Here’s their TV commercial showing a series of Promotional Videos (PVs) of their hit singles from 2000-2010, celebrating MONKEY MAJIK’s 10th year anniversary. Apparently, this TV commercial has been recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records as the longest running TV commercial. (30 mins.)

Didn’t I say MONKEY MAJIK is AWESOME?! Plant brothers are musical geniuses. How many times do I have to say that???!

A year ago, I thought of Monkey Majik doing an opening song for an anime would be an cool idea. Wish came true. Here they are with their newest song “Fast Forward” which will be used as an Opening Theme for the newest anime ぬらりひょんの孫 (Nurarihyon no Mago). ぬらりひょんの孫 is scheduled to air on July 5.
